Bounty style coconut ice cream – an ice cream creation that makes you happy
Bounty style coconut ice cream has been on my mind for a while now. But that's the way it is - there are always more important things to do. And so my plan slipped back a long way. But when I was recently chatting with dear Katja - a member of our Facebook group - Katja told me that she was our fast coconut ice cream familiar with the Coconut ice cream paste, has transformed something. I thought her approach was so great that I thought - and now it's your turn. It's also nice to bring old thoughts into shape. So I adapted Katja's recipe a bit and the result was Bounty-style coconut ice cream.

Delicious coconut milk is used in the ice cream. To boost the taste, I used one part coconut milk and one part coconut drink/coconut rice drink. With the well-known "Bounty" you can taste the coconut flakes - you literally chew them. That's why I added an extra portion of coconut flakes to the ice cream just to give it a special bite. Just put the coconut flakes in the ice cream maker at the end.
Recommendation coconut milk
Unfortunately, I have to say that I was very surprised by the topic of coconut milk. After the first one I bought tasted zero coconut, I bought 4 more varieties. Unfortunately, my attempts were very sobering. All varieties didn't taste as intense as I would have liked. The best was Bamboo Garden's coconut milk. I would also recommend these to you or that you compare them yourself.
Last kick for the bounty style coconut ice cream
To get the "bounty" effect, I chose a mixture of milk chocolate and dark chocolate (70% cocoa). Gently melt this chocolate mixture to create a nice melted chocolate mass. Allow the mixture to cool to the point where it can be swirled into the ice cream. So and when that point is reached, then there is stratification. Ie a layer of the delicious coconut ice cream, then a layer with the chocolate mass. Repeat these steps until the ice box is full.
This combination is just perfect and you have wonderful crunchy chocolate pieces in this Bounty style coconut ice cream. A great ice cream recipe that screams to be copied and a MUST for all fans who love the taste of coconut. And of course for everyone else too.
