Ingredients

200g bacon
400ml cream 30% fat content
150g cane sugar
70g butter
The pulp of a vanilla pod
Single malt whiskey (not peaty) to taste

Preparation

Step 1:
Leave out the bacon
Step 2:

Remove the bacon
Step 3:

Caramelize the sugar in the fat of the bacon
Step 4:

Pour on the cream
Step 5:

Bring to the boil and add butter
Step 6:

Add the vanilla pulp and whiskey
Step 7:

Reduce to the desired consistency
