Frozen yogurt is one of my absolute ice cream favorites. While looking for an even better frozen yogurt variant, I came up with the idea of combining it with buttermilk. The result is a really great creamy ice cream with a slightly bitter note like yogurt usually has.

I have the ice cream with one Mango-Variegato refined. So no more wishes remain open. Of course, the ice cream can also do without it Variegato or with another Variegato be prepared.

In any case, we will have our buttermilk yogurt ice cream more often.

Ingredients

130 g Eis-Perfecto
100 g sugar
15 g binderPerfecto
15 g lemon juice
300 g of buttermilk
200 g yogurt 10%
130 g whole milk 3,5%
110 g cream 30%
a pinch of salt
Optional
200-250 g Variegato

Preparation

Step 1:
Mix all dry ingredients.
Step 2:
Mix the yogurt, buttermilk, milk, lemon juice and the dry ingredients together on the highest setting for 2 minutes.
Step 3:
Now add the cream and mix again briefly.
Step 4:
Let the mix mature in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes.
Step 5:
Freeze the ice with an ice cream maker or the hand method.
