Make ice yourself 
A recipe that was inspired by the Moroccan sweets is suitable for Christmas time. There are different interpretations of this recipe, sometimes the spices vary a little, sometimes it is with rose water instead of orange water. I put together what appeals to me the most.
Mix dry ingredients.
Heat the milk to 85°, hold briefly and cool slightly.
Add the sesame and almond paste as well as the honey and saffron, mix well.
Add the spices and let it cool down (it's better not to put it in a cold water bath for the taste).
Only add the cream and orange water after they have cooled down, mix briefly, then leave to mature in the refrigerator overnight.
Optionally add to the cremosa
Roast the sesame seeds and grind them in a mortar.
Mix all the ingredients and bring to the boil, simmer for approx. 2 - 3 minutes while stirring.
Pour into hot-rinsed screw-top jars, close tightly and let sit for a day.

A very tasty ice cream! However, it is too soft for me, so I would increase the plus portion. The taste is of course more reminiscent of something Christmassy, but that is probably due to the cinnamon 😉 In the absence of orange blossom water, which was simply impossible to get, I used flavoring diluted with a little water. It worked, you can taste the orange delicately through it.
Conclusion: Definitely recommended!
