Chocolat-Passion is an ice cream with a full chocolate note. The real chocolate taste comes across as pronounced here as with no other chocolate ice cream I know. You have the feeling of a wonderful dark chocolate that melts in your mouth. A must for every shock lover.
The ice cream is a creamy chocolate dream!

Didn't think the egg ice cream tasted as sweet and tasty as normal

Delicious! I made the second variant and the consistency was great, just too sweet for our taste. I'll try again with less sugar.

Very tasty and also easy to change e.g. Cocoa or other chocolate. You can also use it with leftover chocolate from grandchildren or too many hollow bodies as gifts.

The taste is really excellent, unfortunately it gets a bit too hard for me at -18° C, ie I have more problems getting it into my ball former...it crumbles. Is there another trick or should I try 1/2 and 1/2 with cocoa?

Chocolate ice cream is usually a bit firmer than other types. But it shouldn't be too hard. It's not the cocoa.
Actually there are only 3 reasons why the ice gets too hard.
1. Your freezer is colder than -18 degrees. That's mostly true! Please check how cold it really is. You must not rely on the display in Froster. It is best to measure the ice directly with a stick thermometer, then you can see exactly how cold the freezer is. It doesn't fail with other types because they are softer anyway, but with types like chocolate it gets too hard.
2. Your ice cream was taken out of the machine too long (rarely) or too soon. In both cases, the ice has incorporated too little air, which is called an overrun. Ideally, the ice should be removed at around – 8.5° degrees. You can measure this with a stick thermometer.
3. You put too much or too little ice cream in the machine. Then, as in point 2, too little air is worked into the ice and the ice still becomes hard.
