Because that's exactly what it's all about: a mild, full-flavored chocolate ice cream recipe with a pleasant sweetness and a delicious chocolate flavor—without being too bitter. Creamy, delicious, and just the thing for true chocolate fans.

Make your own chocolate ice cream – two variations for full enjoyment

For our chocolate ice cream recipe, I've prepared two versions, so everyone will get their money's worth. In one version, we use pure cocoa as the only chocolate component. This gives the ice cream a wonderfully natural cocoa flavor. The second, slightly faster version is made with our Chocolate Ice Cream Paste This, in conjunction with the Ice cream ingredients from Movito for a particularly round, full-bodied aroma and saves you the intermediate step of heating.

Both recipes are also available as sugar-free version with Perfecto-X – perfect for those who want to eat less sugar but don’t want to miss out on creamy chocolate enjoyment.

Chocolate ice cream without an ice cream maker – is that even possible?

Of course, our delicious chocolate ice cream can also be made without an ice cream maker! While the consistency will always be a bit creamier using a machine, this ice cream also turns out wonderfully by hand. Just make sure you stir the mixture regularly in the freezer to prevent ice crystals from forming and to keep the ice cream nice and creamy.

Vegan chocolate ice cream – also possible!

Want to try a vegan version? No problem! Recipes can be easily modified by replacing milk and cream with plant-based alternatives. Coconut milk or creamy oat milk are great options and also provide a great chocolate flavor with the perfect texture.

Preparation

Step 1:
Mix all dry ingredients.
Step 2:
Mix the milk, condensed milk, chocolate ice cream paste and the dry ingredients and mix everything together at the highest level for 2 minutes.
Step 3:
Now add the cream and mix again briefly.
Step 4:
If you make the variant with cocoa, you now have to briefly boil the ice cream mix to 85 ° C, stirring constantly, and then cool it down in a water bath. If you are using the chocolate ice cream paste, this is the step not necessary!
Step 5:
Let the mix mature in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes.
Step 6:
Now freeze the ice with an ice cream maker or the hand method.
