Espresso cream caramel sauce

Bring the sugar and water to the boil in a suitable saucepan while stirring. The sugar should be completely dissolved

Let the mixture cook over medium heat until it has a golden yellow color

Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the butter.

Then stir in half of the cream

Stir in the espresso and salt into the second half of the cream and stir the mixture into the caramel mixture
