Delicious ice cream with daim
Mix all dry ingredients.
Mix the milk, daim and the dry ingredients together on the highest setting for 2 minutes.
Add the cream and bring everything to the boil, stirring constantly, and let it steep for 10 minutes at a low temperature (ideally 85 degrees). Stir occasionally.
Cool down the ice cream mix in a water bath.
Let the ice cream mix in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes.
Freeze the ice cream with an ice cream maker or the hand method and just before the ice cream is ready, add the chopped daim and stir in.

My third ice cream and it tastes fantastic. I mixed in a little more daim than prescribed.

Not bad, but too sweet for me. I think I'll stick with a normal caramel ice cream and sprinkle in some chopped daim 😉
