The name JD Eis comes from the whiskey that was used for the ice cream.

But some of you may be wondering what Lynchburg Lemonade actually is.

It is an alcoholic cocktail that has become known in this country through the BBQ scene.
It's named after Jack Daniel's place of origin, it's the brand's signature drink, so of course it belongs there?.
Basic ingredients are brown sugar, limes, lemonade, TripleSec (a citrus fruit liqueur) and Jack Daniels.

Ingredients

Ingredients ice cream
60 g Perfecto Ice Cream
60 g Perfecto minus
15 g Bindemittel Perfecto
80 g sugar
a pinch of salt
379 g milk 3,5%
75g Jack Daniels
109 g Kondensmilch
222 g cream
Ingredients for Lynchburg Lemonade Variegato (approx. 250g)
75 g of water
26 g fresh lime juice
25g Jack Daniels
35g TripleSec
60 g Variegato Perfecto
13 g Sorbet Perfecto
25 g of brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1:

Mix dry ingredients.
Step 2:

Mix liquids without the cream.
Step 3:

Mix dry ingredients into the liquid and continue mixing for about 2 minutes at high speed.
Step 4:

Briefly mix in the cream.
Step 5:

Let the ice base mature in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes.
Step 6:

Pour into the ice cream maker or freeze by hand.
Preparation Variegato
Step 1:

Mix water with lime juice and put in a saucepan.
Step 2:

Mix alcoholic liquids and set aside.
Step 3:

Mix the dry ingredients and add to the water / lime mix.
Step 4:

Slowly bring to a simmer, add alcohol and simmer for about 2 minutes.
Step 5:

Fill into clean glasses while they are still hot and allow to cool, then leave to mature in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Step 6:

Roll into the ice and let freeze through.
