Make ice yourself 
Quick caramel ice cream recipe with sweetened condensed milk. The caramel ice cream recipe is super creamy and has a delicate caramel note. The caramel ice cream recipe is easy and quick to make. But it is still an ice cream delight for big and small ice cream fans.
Mix all dry ingredients.
Mix the milk, caramel made from condensed milk and the dry ingredients together on the highest setting for 2 minutes.
Now add the cream and mix again briefly.
Let the mix mature in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Now freeze the ice with an ice cream maker or the hand method.
Now feel the finished ice cream in layers in a container and distribute the caramel made from condensed milk between each layer.
Place 2-3 sheets of kitchen paper on the bottom of a sufficiently large pot.
Place a 400g can of sweetened condensed milk on top and cover the can with cold water.
Bring the whole thing to the boil and simmer for 2 to 3 1/2 hours (the longer the darker / more intense the caramel is). In between, check whether the can is still sufficiently covered with water. It must always be covered with water.
Then pour off the water and put the can aside and slowly let it cool down COMPLETELY. Not in a cold water bath or the like.
It is therefore advisable to make the caramel a day before preparing the ice cream.

I think the recipe is great.
To layer the cake, I roast unsalted peanuts in a pan, add the caramel, let it melt, and then deglaze with Baileys Salted Caramel. Add a few flakes of salt and enjoy.
By the way, I pour the sweetened condensed milk into jars and then boil the caramel. It's best to make a whole potful, which saves energy and time. The jars, boiled this way, last forever.
