Yoghurt ice cream this time from expert to expert

Today I have a classic for you that everyone knows. You have probably eaten yoghurt ice cream in an ice cream parlor before. Recently I was talking to a friend about ice cream recipes. This conversation was very valuable for me, because my friend is a real professional ice cream maker who works on a large scale and also advises ice cream parlors. So he told me that he made the classic Greek yoghurt ice cream with honey and walnuts a little differently. I liked this version so much that I took that idea and made my own version of it. I pimped the yoghurt ice cream a bit like you pimp a car.

my creation

I took the basic idea from my friend, but didn't use Greek yoghurt, just regular yoghurt. I then added honey, walnuts, some caramel and large pieces of white chocolate to the yoghurt ice cream. What combination? I have to tell you, I find this composition simply sensational. You can find a similar combination of one in our recipe bank Greek yogurt ice cream, namely with honey and walnuts. This is already top class, but with the additional ingredients of caramel and white chocolate chunks, it is topped again and gives the whole thing the final kick.

I put a picture of the white chocolate chunks in the gallery. There you can see how I made the chocolate chunks. There are no fine planed pieces, no thick pieces either, but something in between.

How it goes?

I did the trickling in of the ingredients in layers. First, put a layer of the yoghurt ice cream in the ice cream container. Then some honey with walnuts. Then comes some caramel Variegato on top of that and the white chocolate chunks. Repeat these steps until the ice box is full.

I have two variants for you. Once with ours yogurt ice cream paste and once with classic yoghurt.

A great ice cream and a highlight for every yoghurt fan.
