Dattel Variegato

First cut the dates into small pieces and put them in a saucepan

then add the water and puree everything very finely. (Pieces do not taste so good later in the ice cream, not a nice mouthfeel)

then add all the remaining ingredients and bring to the boil and simmer for about 2-3 minutes, stirring always well

Pour into jars that have been rinsed with hot water and close tightly
