The secret to the perfect glaze lies in the flavorless coconut oil. Coconut oil has several positive effects when used in ice cream making, especially in the context of chocolate coatings or glazes for ice cream. For example, it has the property of lowering the melting point of the chocolate.

This means the chocolate melts at a lower temperature, which is ideal if you want it to melt instantly in your mouth instead of staying hard.
