Delicious ricotta ice cream suitable for the cold season!

I also like to get inspiration for my ice cream ideas from what I see and what others are doing. That's how I came across this great ice cream combination a few weeks ago. It was immediately clear to me that I had to try that too. The combination of ricotta in the ice cream with the intensely caramelized figs immediately impressed me. You can find them here caramelized figs. Alternatively, you can of course also use ours “Caramelized figs Variegato" use.

Ricotta in the ice cream is that even possible?

At first I wasn't quite sure what it tasted like. But my curiosity was great. Now yesterday I had some time and created this ice cream recipe. In the recipe I use ricotta, of course, but also some honey. Otherwise, it's a classic milk and cream base. The ricotta comes out super creamy and creamy. The honey underlines the sweetness of the ice cream very elegantly. Overall, the ricotta ice cream is wonderfully creamy and reminds a little of mascarpone in ice cream, but lighter and less greasy.

Created for intensive Variegatos

In my recipe I combine the ice cream with intensely caramelized figs or with ours “Caramelized figs Variegato". This strong aroma goes great with the ricotta ice cream. But I'm sure others do too Variegatos go well with this ice cream. I think anything that has a good acidity, such as raspberry, passion fruit, cherry or pomegranate Variegatos should fit perfectly.
